These Older Celebrities Are Still Alike and Kicking Hard

Susan Dey – 69 Years Old

Being part of the Partridge Family was a dream come true in the 1970s. So, after actress Susan Dey played the role of Laurie Partridge for four years, everyone was shocked when she revealed that she had no acting background prior to joining the sitcom!

Yet, the role was just the beginning for Dey. Afterward, she took the iconic role of Grace Van Owen on L.A. Law, which earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. After her successful career, Dey has now retired from acting. Her last roles were as Dr. Breene in Third Watch and Dianna Davis in Rain in 2004 and 2003, respectively.

Sam Elliott – 77 Years Old

When you think about thick mustaches, a Southern drawl, and a deep voice, you can’t help but think of the one and only Sam Elliott. Elliot’s attributes were made to be in Westerns, so it’s no wonder he appeared in Gunsmoke in 1972, The Quick and the Dead in 1987, The Hero in 2017, and other similar projects. But aside from all of these cowboy roles, Elliott starred in a number of big films like The Way West; Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid; and the drama Lifeguard, where he made his debut in 1976.

Despite being 77 years old now, Elliott believes that age is just a number. The legendary leading man shows no sign of leaving the spotlight and has recently appeared in A Star is Born and the Paramount+ miniseries 1883. Additionally, he often makes cameos as a voice actor for various shows and movies.

Connie Stevens – 83 Years Old

No one can deny that Connie Stevens is one of the most versatile women in Hollywood. While she started out in acting, the multi-talented Miss Stevens has also ventured in directing, screenwriting, editing, singing, and eventually even producing movies. While her first big role was in the film Rock-A-Bye Baby in the 1950s, her claim to fame was playing the role of Cricket Blake on the popular television show Hawaiian Eye

When she got tired of acting, Stevens shifted to making music in the 1960s. Throughout her singing career, she managed to score some hits, such as “Spring is Here” and “Blame It on My Youth.” Nowadays, however, Stevens keeps a low profile as she enjoys the luxuries of retired life.
