It is not clear whether the condition was linked to O’Hara’s death. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob Welch, and their two sons, Matthew, 31, and Luke, 29.
O’Hara kicked off her career in 1974 in The Second City, a performance arts theater, in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Catherine O’Hara has died at the age of 71.
However, she rose to fame when she took on the role of Delia Deetz in Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice.”
O’Hara’s agency, Creative Artists Agency, confirmed the news in a statement to Page Six on Friday.
